ANSWER:
Sinusoidal Function is a function that reapeats at regular intervals with repetitive patters. This chracteristic creates symmetrical waves when it is graphed. This funciton is usually used to graph annual temperatures, heartbeat, frequency and moon cycles.
Also, Unit Circle would be helpful when you are working with Sinusoidal Function.
When you express this function algebraically, sine and cosine are used. Parent Function of Sinusoidal Function looks like this:
There are many information that you can get from the equation that indicates transformation by comparing it with the parent function.
When you graph the sinusoidal function, you are able to get the same information you get on the equation: amplitude, the period, trough, peak and the equation of x-axis.

The Period: Time for 1 cycle
Trough: The minimum point on a graph
Peak: The maximum point on a graph
Equation of x-axis: Equation of the line that is just between peak and trough
Amplitude: Distance between Max point and Equation of x-axis

UNIT CIRCLE:
Unit Circle would be useful because:
i. Each point is (cosθ, sinθ). Both cosθ and sinθ are the y-values on Sinusoidal Function, but it alternates depending on which equation you choose: sine or cosine.
ii. Angles are the x-values on the sinusoidal graphs.
