Reflection 

When I was working on my fashion assignment there were two main things that were challenging for me.  The first obstacle I encountered was redesigning traditional clothes. I wanted to alter it in my own taste; however, keeping sense of the culture I chose was very difficult for me. When I was researching, I realized that I can collaborate the modern design and the traditional design, so that is why I designed the high-low skirt. In this way, I could still keep the traditional culture which is represented by flowiness and modern culture represented by the high-low skirt.  Another obstacle I encountered was to recreate embroidered details which can be often seen in the original culture.  I figured that it requires difficult techniques, so I used other fabric for the details.  In this way, it was more  achievable to recreate the similar details.
